Lockton Lane is a fictional O gauge layout set between 1987 and 1992, at the end of a branch line in North Hampshire, just south-west of Reading and Basingstoke. It serves a small town with a (virtual) quarry and a Ministry of Defence depot.

The depot looks after Network SouthEast locomotives and the two-car diesel units that work the branch to Reading and Basingstoke. A headshunt serves the quarry with ballast trains and permanent way wagons, and MOD trains are shunted there before locomotives take them away to depots around the country. With the military on high alert, there is plenty coming and going.

Lockton Lane was built by Tim Lowe in 2021, during lockdown, and offers lots of running variety. The scenery is by Simon at Bespoke Trax, and the layout has been featured by Key Model World.
